Re: Re: : Experian Class Action! 1*No oxymoronage, please ... "attorney" and "enough money" - a word and a phrase too far away from each other ... 2*Originally posted by lbrown59 *Translation: If the creditors have to shell out to much of their profits to attorneys perhaps they may realize the way to maintain their bottom line is to obey the law and retain their revenues instead of giving them to lawyers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ohh ... got it ... you're absolutely right ... 1*I think you were so focused on this point that you missed this one2* causing you not to see the cage for the bird. LOL
Re: Re: : Experian Class Action! I was so focused on being mad at all the attorneys getting their money, that I missed even the bird ...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Experian Class Action! Actually, I just got a settlement of a class action against a mortgage company and a title company who were evidently in cahoots. I got over $500 total! In this case, I didn't even know there was a cause of action until I got the paperwork. I didn't have the time, money or desire to research all the issues, so I remained in the class. I guess it was worth it, since it cost me no time or money.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Experian Class Action! I too was 'involved' in a class action suit against my laptop company a few years ago. Seems there batteries were faulty (never realized, i always had it plugged in). They offered either a memory upgrade or an additional battery, both valued at ~$85 I took the memory... OTH, DIS-cover just settled for false lates and OTL fees for penny's for "some" lucky! customers I think it goes both ways, generally penny's for the consumer tho. fweem!
