I recently opened a new p.o box. It uses any address format I want, ie. apt 123 anytown Fl. Anyway experian sent me a verification for a dispute I sent in. I dont have 2 forms of identification that this is my new address since it is new. My question is what do I do? And is the clock still ticking?
Unfortunately if the address is not on your credit report, they can refuse to investigate until you prove that you are who you say you are. Now, if your address is on the credit report, and they send the we are unable to pull up your credit report with the information provided response, it's disingenious. Now, if you've received an EX report, if you can provide the report # at the top, this should be more than enough proof that you are who you say you are, since it proves that they've been able to send you a copy of your credit report before.
