I finally get my report down to 2 derogs and today I go on to Experian's website and now I have no report. it says I have 0 negative accounts and 0 positive accounts, no inquries. I can't call them till monday, but should I be worried? Those positive accounts where hard to get and now I've lost everything. Why would this happen?

I think they're having a problem with their system. I tried to order a report today and they said they couldn't find me. don't be worried yet.

Me, too!!!! I'm so surprised this hasn't gotten more of a reaction here..I'm talking 10 years of my credit wiped out and I'm in the middle of a house refi!!

    It's frightening!

I don't know...all I know is my house refi is resting on this and even Privacy Guard has the destroyed file, not the right one!

    You call that a GLITCH!!

People could die of a heart attack over this!! I became very disheartened and sighed tremendously after reading NanaCs post over at Creditboards.
Man I figured if this could happen to her, a leader, my chances of success at credit repairing were slim.

    Glitch... I sure hope so.

Although, in my case with no positives it would be a good thing and perhaps a good time for me to sign up at Experian in hopes my TLs were all gone too. ;-)

Glitch? *shaking my head* That is unbelievable!
Makes me wonder what Credit repairing was like prior to MS Win XP you know the old days before computers.

Currently, I only have my old June report. Which appears to be the same when I signed in.

I called today and they told me there was a problem with my file and that they deleted all my account information. It would take 30 days to get my account information back. Makes me wonder if my negatives they deleted are going to come back too. I would hate to start disputing everything all over again after I have spend almost a year writing letters. Now I can't log into privacyguard because I don't have an experian report.

Okay, I logged in using creditexpert.com and all of my account info is gone. It still shows a score, but I have no accounts at all. I just fired an email off to their C.S. to see what is going on. I could care less about EXP because they are my lowest score and EQ and TU are my best ones.

It sounds like someone has hacked the EXP database. But maybe we should all file a complaint with the FTC. I'm sure they must be violating some law by now.

    kewlstangs,

"problem with your file" That's crazy.

What kind of problem? Your file has a bug?

*shock* 30 days! I cannot believe our lives and future are in placed on software and the internet.

I guess you cannot send in disputes for 30 days?

You probably will be safe no matter what happens if you have a recent hard copy of your EX report so you can tell them to restore it to what you had latest.

Surprised this does not happen more often.

SHE HAS NO OLD COPIES OF ANYTHING???

I HAVE PAPER COPIES GOING BACK 24 YEARS...BUT THAT IS ME!!!

"IF" THEY WIPED HER OUT FOR-EVER...SHE WILL GET THE REST OF HER MORTGAGE PAID IN FULL!!! AND SHE CAN BUY-OUT THAT MEAN NEIGHBOR NEXT-DOOR!!!

From what I hear,, She, God that is, only makes one copy. :p :-D

Right, I agree they stand a chance of gaining from the CRAs mistakes. But, I hope they demand to get something in writing.

Uh oh Gretchen, have you checked your report status on Experian yet? J/k. Is it just a coincidence that several members here are affected simultaneously. The whole system must be wiped out affecting our reports as well.

Yep, My stuff is not there. I say we all apply for a mortgage and then get a class action suit against EXP. j/k Has anyone heard of anything thats going on? Surely they must back up their system one would think.

So is this something permenant or a quick fix?

Well, since you still have a score, ya'd think they have some information on you. My guess is its temporary.

Quick fix - who knows!! Its Experian LOL

just like to note, that the problem arised because they were treating my account as a "split account" (not sure if this is the right word usage), and they were trying to split out the stuff that was not mine and fraudulent (belonging to another person) from the stuff that was mine. The "problem" was that they just deleted everything. They told me they have a copy of everything I had before (I have many copies), and that they would get the accounts back on in a process that could take up to 30 days. They said once that is done, then I can dispute what is not mine, but that makes me feel like bad stuff might come back. Either way, it sucks, but I can live with it since I am not applying for credit anyway. It is not the end of the world, but could complicate things in the future if I don't get all my tradelines back.
