I have days until closing on a refi..this is pretty big stuff for me! And, I honestly am not in a lighthearted mood about it at all. Hey, George, my neighbors in my new house are nice. I have pre-paid legal and I talked to a lawyer this morning...she told me to call and if they don't fix it, she'll write a letter, then we'll sue. In the meantime, there is so much at stake...let's say one of my positive accounts does a soft, just because and closes my cc for this crap? Check your SS#, the one that they are displaying that is so awful isn't my SS#..it's off by one digit. It's really, really upsetting! It's not a fresh start..mine lost 13 positive TL's and 2 negs came out of nowhere...one is a FORECLOSURE! ????!!!!!!??????!!!!!!
There is no guarantee that they WON'T "PULL" in the last few days...BUT THEY USUALLY DON'T!!! They would use the previous "PULL" if they can't get a new one...IF YOU CAN'T GET ONE...THEY CAN'T GET ONE!!! I really DON'T see this as a DEAL KILLER... "THEY" want the loan to be a DONE DEAL...just like you do...
I know, thanks, it just sucks to be sitting on pins and needles when it isn't even my ss#....but it looks awful!!! And, they promised they'd call back today before she left work (the lady in special services) and of course, I heard nothing. If they don't call tomorrow, I'm moving on with my lawyer to the next step.
Re: Re: Experian deleted my entire report George, I just reread this..Geroge, I am getting one, they are getting one..it's an awful one...with no positives and 2 negs, ones a foreclosure..it's all gone except 2 negs that are from ?????? So, they will get one...an incredibly horrible one!
Re: Re: Experian deleted my entire report I have contacted a lawyer and they are writing a letter to EX...even though the lady in research could see it was not my SS#, not the same report as a week ago, they have left the godawfulone up today. I'm not going to sit back on this. So, we shall see..in the meantime..I pray noone pulls that awful thing!
Update I was hoping that everyone would have an update and I'm hoping it's good news. Have ya'll gotten your reports corrected??? In my case, it has been almost resolved. I have all my positive TL's back and the foreclosure (?) is gone but they are attempting to combine one more negative from that "other" report. However, I have documentation of EXP telling me in 2000 that, when I disputed that particular negative, "No Record" of it existed and then it was gone for 3 years. Therefore, the lawyer has specifically targeted that for removal in her letter. So, basically, it's not 100% fixed but it is much better and I am really hoping everyone else has found that their credit reports are corrected.
Update NanaC I am glad you got it. Mine was resolved. I thought something was missing on the 'other' board. I sent you a pm over there. Just wanted to see how you were doing.
