Ok, I've looked over and over on thier site, and I can't seem to find the link to dispute some of the items that are on my credit report. It says you can do it online, and when I click request an investigation, it just shows me my credit report, and that's it. Anyone know where the link is? Thanks, Andi
Wow, Experian REALLY sucks! I tried doing what Doc did, with an old screenshot of a dispute, but I either am mis-guessing the ntermiediate page, or they remembered to remove the code this time (
What's really stupid is this... I went to do a direct dispute via the link on the Experian US page, thinking maybe they just disabled disputes from CreditExpert, and even THAT didn't work. You enter a report number, SSN, state and zipcode, it shows you the report and you go to an item, and NO LINK TO DISPUTE. Idiots.
on the united states homepage, click "request dispute". then, follow the instructions for inputing your info...report #, ssn #, state & zip. once you're in, click on account information. once there, click on the name of the account you want to dispute. after that, at the top of the page you should see a link for requesting an investigation for that account. took me awhile to find it also.
