Ok we all know experian says they do not do inquiries. I have been told that for 2 months. Last week I faxed consumer special services a letter stating all 62 of their FCRA violations. Some of those were not investigating inquiries. I even had one of the companies that pulled it by accident contact experian and experian refused to remove it. This will look very nice in court for them- not. Today I get a letter stating that if I want to dispute the inquiries I must provide a reason why which means they can investigate them. I faxed back with my final 24 hour intent to sue stating 2 months ago I tried to dispute and was refused so their 30 days were up a month ago. I have been blown off everytime I call. I sent a week notices of sueing them, a 48 hour notice, and a 24 hour notice. Experian likes to use the clerical error defense so this covers that as I have documented everything well. At noon tomorrow I file using the money I got from sueing the collection agency.
Hey, Someone previously posted, 'why can't they make it easy, save money, and just do their job (delete, dispute, etc)? This isn't word for word ;-) I really wish you luck.
Hey, you have a fax number for Experian? How'd you get it?? I had one that I used, but they never got it. will you share?
Sure this board is for sharing. However, are you elite enough to receive this info?(old joke) Fax #(972) 390-1680 Half my stuff is in my new house and half in my old house so if you need more numbers I can get them tomorrow. That is one of the numbers to consumer special services. There are others On another hand, I wrote to mr. cooke with capital one but this time he is ignoring me. Does anyone have a phone # I can call over to? thanks
Thanks! I'll fax out a letter tonight!! Oh and, I got it (I wasn't elite enough back then, but I'm working on it! LOL)!!!
