I'm trying to fax a dispute of old addresses and hard inquiries with Experian, but none of the 6 fax numbers I have seem to be working. I tried to dispute the addresses online, but it wouldn't let me dispute them on line (at least I couldn't find out how). I was able to dispute tradelines, but not addresses, so I was trying to fax. Any suggestions?

It appears that EXP no longer accepts faxes due to "security reasons." However, do you have these?

    972-390-3838 ("Special Handling Dep't")

Got them off the creditcourt.com site. http://creditcourt.com/law/cra.shtml

Side note: addresses can be disputed by phone fairly easily. As for hard inquiries, they're likely to recommend you go directly to the unquirer(s), or come up with some other way to avoid the issue.

Thanks, I already had those numbers and they aren't working either. What kind of security problem could a fax be? I think they just want to make it harder for us to dispute items with them!

I emailed it to them and will try and get thru on the phone today.
