For those that don't use creditexpert and just receive their free reports from experian they now ask the name of the creditor who denied you and the date in which it occurred, oh well so much for the back door to TU and Experian reports:(

Thats why I always dispute and apply for things I know I cant have.
That way I always have access to my up to date credit reports.

Well there is still away atleast with Experian. The LOC from Amex is a soft inquiry and this is exclusively the agency Amex uses. You can get a free report for hard or soft inquiries.

Also note that if you apply for a LOC and then reapply, Amex just changes the date of the soft inquiry to reflect your lastest application.

Still haven't figured out TU yet LOL

Does Amex possibly pull any other report for the LOC? Experian is my best report and I just want to be sure that's what they will pull/

I thought they would pull Experian for me when I applied for BLUE but they pulled Equifax (which has 2 old co's). Has anyone had Amex pull something OTHER than Experian for the LOC? Or is it safe to assume they will pull Experian for me?

Yes, because Amex Cent Bank and Amex TRS have different underwriting procedures.

Also, the EXP INQ following your LOC application will be a soft.

But the thing about Experian is when you order over the fone and they give you that confirmation number, you are in!!! Just go to Start an investigation.

Where on the AMEX website do you go to apply for LOC? I could not find it.

Well, I have an app for Prime + 5.99 pending. Wonder what that means. I think that it may be the length of employment.
