Experian...I am so Mad!!!

    I have been dealing with Experian for 2 years trying to get my reports straightened out. Incomplete/incorrect info. I requested Experian to verify ALL my accouts in August as I wasn't getting anywhere with them. I took close to 2 months to get a copy of my report from them. They deleted 4 utility accounts because they were unverifiable with the utility even by me. I never disputed these. I have been disputing other accouts in the past several weeks. Now, almost 2 months later, (4 months since August) I got a letter saying they contacted the Utility and got updated info on a collection account. The update is exactly the same as reported in Aug.1999, Balance N/A, Recent Payment N/A. Date opened
    5/97 last reported 6/99. This was a rental property and no one has lived there since 2/97. I'm not even sure I gave the tennant permission to put this bill in my name. I did pay this off after I found out it was in my name and they didn't pay. Sorry this is so long, but can they do this?
    Did they re-age this account? Now how do I dispute this one?
