Good news! Of the 11 total inquiries on my report (all disputed), there are only 6 left! I got rid of AFBA Industrial Bank, Am. Express, One of 3 Providian Financial, FNB Brookings, and One of the 2 Capital One Inquiries. I have 8 accounts in good standing too, with none in poor standing. Here are the inquiries left, tell me what ya'll think. Everbank, 7/28/2001 Capital One, 7/17/2001 Providian Financial, 6/27/2001 Nextcard, 12/02/2000 Providian Financial, 8/27/2000 Capital One, 8/14/2000 I think it still may look bad because there are 3 inquiries in a short time (the most recent). What if all the inquiries in 2000 dropped off? How would it look then? Still, I am having hell with Equifax in removing inquiries. I need some help with them.
If your worried about Equifax, don't even bother with TU. They don't do "inquiry" disputes....they sux!! I called Equifax and the lady took mine over the phone..
Really? I might have to try that then, I've called and done it on the net twice and no response..so, I'll see what happens I guess
