Bonnie, It really depends from state to state. For example, I don't have any soft - promotional inquiries on Experian while I have lots of them on EQ and TU. It may be the case in your state GA .. Denny
EQF in CA. TU no bank ever looks at it, there are hardly any AR's or PRMs at all. EXP is almost as ignored as TU. But man, does EQF ever get beat up with PRM's, AR's etc.
My experience is the reverse, in TX TU was the most looked at in my experience, Kohl's and Providian both pulled TransUnion on me. Bank of America in TX pulled Experian. In IL it seems most pull Exp on me. Equifax is the least used for me. Experian is the most used for me.
I live in Atlanta, and it seems like Equifax is the most viewed here. My TU is the best but it's rarely looked at here. Especially for local car and furniture dealers.
I live in Texas and noticed on my report that Equifax is the one with the most views. I wish they were as easy to deal with as TU and Experian. My TU score is the best at 669 and of course my Equifax is the worst at 645. I have done the online disuptes with TU and Experian recently and had good luck getting 3 derogs deleted because of incorrect information. Now if Equifax will just be as accommodating!
EXP is the devil The most notorious group of A-Holes put on this planet. Nothing short of ITS will ever get them to budge on anything!
It is amazing how much the story differs based on where you live. TU is by far my most viewed, (here on the east coast), and they have also been the biggest pain for me with disputes. I've actually had EFX drop things quite easily that I am still arguing over with TU. As far as EXP, I never mess with them much, they account for less than 10% of my pulls.
I'm from Illinois. TU most pulls - easy to deal with EQ 2nd most pulls - not so easy to deal with Exp least pulls - not sure yet - just started my battle with them
Illinois here, too. TU...most pulls and best score!!! EQ..second most, no score..they killed my whole credit history by DELETING MY ENTIRE FILE!* EXP...zero pulls! * and they won't do anything in 29 days to fix their mistake!
