I disputed an experian collection on the internet all ready so I can't dispute the same thing twice over the net(it doesn't let). Does anyone know the current experian phone number which gets me to a person? Thanks, Joel
Remember how the dispute process works: 1. you dispute something with the CRA. 2. the CRA asks the information provider (OC, CA) if the information is correct. 3. the OC/CA says "yes it is." 4. the CRA says, dispute resolved. Case closed. If you don't agree with that, calling the CRA won't change anything. They didn't "make" the data, they are only reporting what has been told to them. So, if whoever told them says it's correct, what more can they do? If you've disputed with the CRA and it has come back verified as valid and correct, you next step is to take it up with OC/CA who provided the information to the CRA.
