They deleted a positive tradeline with no lates today. So I called up EX CS and they could care less! They refused to reinsert. My score drops because a postive installment tradeline is removed and they refuse to reinsert without a UDF from car company. This same thing happened a few weeks ago with TU, and TU corrected the mistake and reinserted the tradeline within a week. But not EXP. No, they want a UDF from car company to reinsert, even though EXP messed up. Fortunately, the car company agreed to send in the UDF within a day to EXP. Of course, EXP will probably take it's time and wait 60 days to reinsert. Any ideas on how I can get the account quickly reinserted once I have a copy of the UDF? I am applying for a mortgage in the next 30 days and need all the points I can get.
Have the finance co send you a copy of the udf along with a letter. Then fax it to experian. It should then update in about 1 week. You'll have to do a search here for "cra fax numbers".
Thanks LKH. As soon as I get that UDF I am faxing to EXP. Crossing my fingers they will update in a week or so. I really need that account for my mortgage.
