hi all, I called experian before and disputed various incorrrect versions of my name and address, as well as some inquiries,,, she wouldnt delete over the phone,,, instead, as I see now,,,,, she placed everything in " dispute 30 days, etc" is this the norm,? equifax deletes on the phone,, I mean it takes them 30 days to " investigate" an obvious error in spelling of my name and address??? also..... she said she would have the inquiries investigated,,,,, but I have to write to the companies myself also,,,, do any of you have experience with this? do they really investigate inquiries,,,,, dam,,,, Docs trick put them into dispute and they all were deleted in 30 days,,, thanks., lil
I don't know about the inqs, but the address/name variations should be corrected by tomorrow. What happens is that they put it "in dispute," upload the corrections in the system, and when the latter reboots (sometime in the middle of the night, one assumes), the corrections are made. Redundant, yes. But do check you report tomorrow.
