   If you go directly through www.experian.com , then no it is not any type of inquiry. If you check through creditexpert, then it is a soft inquiry.
   
   BTW, when you check your own report, it is never a hard inq.

   Thanks. I've been keeping watch to see if "in dispute" shows up instead of "Pending".

   nothing ever came up as "in dispute" on mine. They said pending up until they were either deleted or "verified."
