okay i got an email from TU today regarding a dispute i had did and the results were as follows: JUDGEMENT #1 ....... OUTCOME: updated JUDGEMENT #2 ....... OUTCOME: remains my question is does this mean one of the judgements will be deleted and one will stay on? what exactly does updated mean in this situation?
Looks like they are both staying va(((( Updated means they probably added somthing or changed the reporting in some way, basically remains with some new info.
go the dispute section of experian, click on start a dispute put in your file number and look at your report. You can see it for about 90 days
I am also in the processing of getting disputes updated/verified/deleted, etc. It can get pretty irritating, especially when you get your updated report only to find that your explanation was not understood by the person on the other end of the phone (i.e. they deleted a positive TL instead of updating it with the proper information. By the way, if this happens, you just fax them a copy of your old report to the CRA, circle the item that was deleted and tell them to add the information back.) Overall, I have found the customer reps at TU and Experian to be pretty friendly, especially when I play dumb, play nice, and ask for legitimate changes.
