Well...I sent the FTC complaint threat letter to Experian, asking for another procedural request, and they pretty much gave me the same response: 4 letters of bullsh*t claiming they don't know what I want validated, or 'this item has already been verified'. This is the 3rd procedural request that Experian has refused to answer for me. I think its time to file suit. I have them on 3 $1000 violations I assume (3 unanswered procedural requests). I also have actual damages, as I was denied an auto loan 3 yrs ago, and got another loan at a higher rate 2 yrs ago. I plan to research a lot more before I send my ITS, but should I look at suing in small claims court, or federal court? Also, has anyone else gotten the proper response from experian to a procedure request? Thanks. I'll keep everyone updated.
Can you post the letter you sent them, Deacon, CRA's don't "validate" as you are requesting. Your damages are beyond the SOL as well. Sassy
