In another post a member was unable to find the registered agent for their state for Experian. I am not certain it is the same for all states, but in Maryland, Experian is still registered under TRW as a LLC. I inquired with the state office regarding this and was told that if a corporation changes it's original name, as long as they file a DBA (Doing business as) statement they are not required to register as a separate corporation (at least in MD). I suspect Experian is still filed in many states under TRW intentionally and you may be able to locate their registered information by searching for the registered agent for TRW. Failing all else, you can have the court documents served on the corporate headquarters for the CRA.
