How does exp usally respond to faxed disputes? e-mail, snail mail? Has anyone had better luck faxing disputes as compared to online disputes? Thanks

For me, they always respond via snailmail. I don't see any difference in their responses to fax or online.

I only use fax when I have information to give them, or need to do something that can't be done online.

For example, I disputed an inaccurate DMB balance in Sept, they updated in Oct. I have since closed that account. They are reporting it as open with a $3,000+ balance. When I tried to dispute the status, online wouldn't let me. I am faxing them the dispute, since DMB doesn't update often and they may never update this.
