I sent three disputes "not mine" to Experian. Thus far, their responses have either been "deleted" or "remains". Oddly enough, this time it says "reviewed". I've read previous threads, but still need more information. From what I understand, for some people-the item was deleted. For others, it means that the OC needs more time to complete the investigation. If the latter is true- more investigation time, could you all please give me some advice on my next move, what type of letter, etc. Seems "needing more time" would be illegal. Please help!!! Thanks!!!
I've had two items come back as 'reviewed.' One was later deleted and the other was later changed to 'paid as agreed.' In both cases, EXP did this a week or two after the dispute was over without me taking any further action. I think they classify it as 'reviewed' to submit dispute results to you, but continue to work on it behind the scenes. In my experience, reviewed is a good thing!
