Experian just told me I can't dispute a previous address because creditors on my file are reporting that address. Is this true? If not, how do I go about doing this...identification, S.S., etc?
Are they reporting an address you never lived at, and never submitted on an account application? Is there an account on your reports that is not your account? Have you asked them what creditors are reporting that address?
I did live at this address. I suppose that a couple creditors could be using it, but they are in dispute. Also, the address is now non-existant. It was a township that got annexed by the nearest city...that was the reason for the dispute. It doesn't exist anymore.
