I spent about 2 1/2 years getting all of the problems fixed with mine and my husband's credit reports. I am kind of out of practice now. I haven't dealt with it much since about 2005. Anyway, I learned today that my SSN & Name do not match up in Experian's system; therefore, I can not get my electricity switched to a lower cost company. The Experian automated number is NO HELP AT ALL (888-397-3742). Does anyone have a number for Experian where you can actually talk to a human being? I know you need a credit report number, but I can't order one because it says I am not in their database ????
Did you move - change your address since the last time you were able to pull it up? Accidentally transposed any digits within your SS # when you recently tried to access your report?
