I got a EX credit report today. On the front page it says:

Below is a summary of the information contained in the report.

    Potentially negative items listed
    Public record 0
Accounts with creditors and others 3

    Accounts in good standing 28

Has anyone seen this before? It is located in the spot where my dispute summary is usually seen.

    Jim,

I got that a couple of reports back. It looked familiar, so I never said anything. Do you know if it is a new thing that they are doing?

No I don't know if it is new.

I am glad that I have 28 open and closed good tradelines vs. 3 bad ones rather than say 10 good ones. The ratio looks better.

That summary has been on the online reports for quite some time now. Maybe they are now putting it on the mailed reports as well??

    Hi MOM!!

Yes, I am looking at a mailed report.

This is just an opinion but...

For those of us rebuilding credit: having many accounts may be more desirable than just following the FICO formula. I am exercising all 11 of my open accounts nearly every month. That paid off secured credit union loan I did is one of the 28 positives here. So I don't regret that either.

    Not new

I've seen that for quite some time. At least for the last 9 mos I think. It's a great way to look and get a quick picture of what's there.
