Score one more for the C'Netters! With all of the help and support here, I was able to pull out a small claims victory against the evil Experian. I sued them in small claims court under California's Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act for failure to assure max. poss. accuracy and for failure to delete or correct. I didn't get the full $1,000 I sued for; instead, the Court awared me a half-day's pay plus costs of suit. The Court also awarded me injunctive relief. It ordered Exp to report the TL exactly how I want it. The kicker is, Exp has always claimed that they can't report it that way. If that's the case, they either have to delete or I sue to enforce the Court's order. Exp. would be wise to just pay the judgment, delete the TL and walk away. But I have a feeling they're going to appeal out of some misguided principle. Fine. Let 'em. It's their money. Many thanks and big props to the C'Netters here who offered up their advice, knowledge and wisdom. Couldn'ta dunnit without you. Ron
