I disputed with Experian via internet as not mine. They verified a $30 medical bill that is with a CA that I really have no knowledge of. Do I now send the CA a validation letter and Experian a procedure request at the same time?
TU verified on my "not mine" dispute and I sent a procedure request to TU and a nutcase letter to the OC. I sent a nutcase letter because the account is mine but they verified incorrectly and now the wrong information is being displayed on my report. In your case, a validation to the CA sounds like the right path. Hope this helps a bit.
Validation request for sure. Also, if the can validate, the amount is so low, you may want to request a pay for deletion. Just make sure to get it in writing from them that they will delete if you pay the debt. Greg
