I sent validation letter to NCO on 4/24...after forwarding BS finally got card back on 5/21/03. Went online and dispute NCO with experian. Got email saying results are ready. It says NCO "remains". How much verification can be done in one day? Did they really contact NCO? Wow...I am flabbergasted.
Okay..I've calmed down. Now to think how I will approach this. I am only looking for a deletion. As I see it, NCO has committed two violations. 1) Not putting the account in "dispute" to the CRA. 2) Verifying without validating. Both of these violations are very clear and I don't feel I need to wait any longer to address this. Should I send estoppel with validation letter and CMRRR copy? or is there a letter that addresses the violations and demands deletion? Two different approaches to the same problem...not sure which would work better. Any advice? Thanks.
