    FCRA violation?

On 12-3-01 I initiated an online dispute with Experian regarding an over 3 year old charge-off. They had until 1-02-02 to verify this. Today, 1-3-02 I went online and status said pending. Also, under the "Results Due" date, it said 12-19-01. Now this date is weird because I disputed on 12-3-01. But anyway.....I call them today and ask why they haven't deleted. They CLAIM I initiated the dispute online on 12-8-01, giving them 5 more days from today. This is total BS. I've already saved the page that shows Results Due on 12-19-01. I've had problems with Experian in the past, so this isn't anything new. Briefly, I had a c.c. that showed late when it wasn't, in fact it was closed already, I sent them tons of proof, kept saying my c.c. company verified I was, I called my c.c. company and they said Experian NEVER contacted them. Big surprise. EX has since corrected this after my c.c. dealt with them.
Okay, who has any suggestions for me.

    Stories of Inspiration

I had an enlightened moment, one day, and concluded that all the online bellyaching in the world doesn't mean Jack (and, by some, is perceived only as sour grapes of the credit challenged).

But I saw the future: One day-- yes, there'll be a brighter day tomorrow: Free web space for all, and scanners for $29.95. How will the dastardly deed-doers hide, then?

    Rise up and scan.
