My MO for getting some old things removed is disputing them with the CRA's. This has worked will with TU and EQ, but when I try to go back online and dispute with EXP, they say that verified items can not be disputed ( I disputed them before and they came back verified ). I have most of these items off the other 2 CRA's, but my question is what do I do now with EXP? Any help is always appreciated. Brian
Try actually disputing via US Mail, certified, return receipt as opposed to online. In your letter be VERY specific as to what/why you are disputing, and that you don't understand how they can be verifying this information as it is inaccurate.
Good advice, but I have done this, VERY specific information via US certified mail, but they still refused. I was told that if I had any additional information that I got myself from the creditor, I should send it to them and they will update. I think this is a bunch of bullsh*t, so I sent them a procedure request CMRRR as I said in another post. Maybe this is what you should do too?
If you still have the 'verification' results summary. Look over it with a fine tooth comb, to see if they have updated anything since then, changed any of the dates, etc. If something major has changed, then you have something to argue that they did not in fact investigate the information which they are CURRENTLY reporting.
You might also "assume" that since the CRA claims they have investigated, then what is reported is what the OC or CA intended to be reported, and if it is erroneous and damaging, the OC or CA is now liable to you for that damage. They had their chance to correct inadvertent errors.
