Hey, Accounts always pop out of know where, 4 years ago we had Dish Network, and It was my dad's, now me and him have the same first and last name, I paid his first month when the dish was installed, becasue they needed a credit card when the installation was done, I pulled my Credit Report last month and on my Experian Report, it shows a Collection from, Anderson Financial Network, I have never sign a contract nor gave my Social Security to Dish Network. I disputed online with Experian, today I get results and says "Remain" =( What NEXT??? Please help, how do I get this account off my report? We have same first, last name, same home address, Experian thinks it's me =( and Dish Network becasue I paid his first month with my Credit Card.
To sign up with Dish Network, they require a ssn. Validate the debt, since this is legitimately not yours, they can't prove it.
Yea now they require SSN, but when Dish Network first came into the market, they didn't require nada. =) I got a bad headache!

Here's a good thread, also look at the links inside that thread http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...postid=286423&highlight=validation#post286423 You will send validation to the CA.

Well today I received a letter stating this accout has been paid in full. If you have any questions, blah blah blah. You have the right to inspect your credit. Sincerely, AFNI How is this a validation? Should I try the nutcase next? Is there another letter out there that deals with a ca or even an oc not providing proper validation?
