Last year in Oct. I disputed some lates on DH Ford Motor Credit account. They came back verified. OK, so they were real, but I figured I'd try. I got a new copy of his credit reports and they are reporting 6 total 30 day lates (which are valid). However, they upped the dates on those lates to May, Feb, Jan, of 2003. The last late on the account was Oct. 2002. and Before. When I called FMC, they told me they wouldn't change them. Since there are 6 lates that's what they report. I told them not to delete the 6, just make the dates reflect the correct dates they were late. They wouldn't budge (I did not try a supervisor). So, I figured I'd write a letter to the 3 CRA and get them corrected the same way. I explained everything thoroughly, just as I did here. Got a letter today from Experian saying they won't reinvestigate. What should I do? Any ideas?
I had luck disputing never late. But it was one 30 day late over three years ago. The SUV has been paid off for two and a half years. It may have to do with the date. Sorry I can't be of much help. Michelle
