    My husband and I both sent a procedures letter to Experain and they said they could not process our request. What next? Would love any sugestions.

    BTW we disputed again after we got our reports back and they said that they already investigated the trade lines.

    What a gold plated letter! They most certainly can, or they better delete.

    I would send an ITS

    From 611

    (iii) a notice that, if requested by the consumer, a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available;

    7) Description of reinvestigation procedure. A consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer a description referred to in paragraph (6)(B)(iii) by not later than 15 days after receiving a request from the consumer for that description

    Whats an ITS?

    I am in a similar situation. Experian ignored my last request for investigation. I called them after 30 days, and the woman said that they would not re-investigate. I had provided additional info in the last letter, and pointed out this fact. She said it doesn't matter, and that I would need a letter from the creditor stating that the account should be deleted. Otherwise, they won't be doing any further investigations. I'm thinking about sending a request for procedures. Is there an example of such a letter on CN?

    The additional info I provided in the last dispute were three letters:
    1) From the attorney general's office stating that the creditor had not responded to my dispute.
    2) From the BBB stating that they had not heard from the creditor either.
    3) From the creditor stating that they had no information on this account since it had been transfered to another lender.

    I thought for sure this last one would force them to delete...but no dice. Any suggestions?
