    Hello,

About 3 weeks ago I disputed w/ Experian through their online site about 7 items that are truly bogus for various reasons. One is something that should have been removed last year since it was my bounced ck from 1995. It hasn't been yet. The CA, which amazingly is the same CA from the beginning of this saga. Anyway, I have proof they have re-aged the acct because I have a letter from them dated 1996. They also sent me a letter in 2000. They also claimed on my CR that they were unable to locate debtor which is funny since I have the letters. They are showing the 2000 date as the original date which means it isn't supposed to come off until August of this year but I want it off NOW. Anyway, I went to Experian's site tonight to check my status and found one acct, a public record that is not mine, that I disputed and it's come back updated but there is nothing else about it. I checked the e-mail addy I gave them to send the updated report but they haven't sent it. What does updated mean and how long does it take to get my new CR?

    Thanks,

    Jane

Updated means that some new info. was added or changed, but not deleted. Still negative.

Prolly will take about a week to get a copy of your new report.

It's amazing how they verify stuff that is not yours, but it happens a lot.

Remove addresses linked to the tradeline and dispute again.

My dilema is that this public record isn't mine but my husband is connected to it. My husband's company is located in another state but they do business in my state. My husband works for them at one of their properties. My husband evicted a tenant and this tenant sued the company for I forget what. Return of her security or part of it I think. Anyway, my husband was served as the agent for the company. The exact wording is:

    Defendant

His Company name C/O my husband. Then further down it says

    Defendant

His Company name C/O my state

I called experian this morning and they said it had been verified and was staying. Really irritates me that the idiots they have reporting this to begin with and then verifying it cannot tell the difference between someone who is a defendant and someone is simply is served with the lawsuit on behalf of their company, the real defendant. My question is in this case who do I sue? Experian? The Court? I just don't know. The Court Supervisor is supposed to get back to me by Thursday. She says she has to pull the case since it's a couple years old.

    Thanks.
