Experian NCAC PO Box 9595 Allen, TX 75013 You want to send a dispute ( not mine, etc. ) to Experian by certified mail, return receipt. Do not send a validation letter to a CRA. They are not responsible for validating. Jeff
I believe most judges would agree that a credit bureau needs to provide more than a form letter supplied by the creditor to validate a debt. Anybody else agree??
Do you mean a form letter as "certification" from the creditor that a disputed account is correct? If this is your first dispute of the acct., the creditor only needs to say the info is correct. If it is an acct. that was deleted and then reinserted, then they must certify it as correct.
No, I disputed an item and they refused to remove it. I re-disputed the item, and they again refused to remove it. Now, they will not let me redispute the item. I have seen a validation letter in the sample letters section which appears to be for the credit bureaus. I have sent a validation letter to the creditor and was wondering if a validation/ verification letter to the credit bureau would be a waste of time (if they don't have to provide verification) or could it possibly speed up the deletion process? Any comments?
