I don't know if this has been posted... Experian says they will only do 2 verifications on disputes, then no more. Is this true? Does it mean we are screwed trying to challenge information and only a lawsuit will back them down?
The FCRA clearly states that a CRA must investigate an item if presented evidence that is is not accurate. The FCRA overrides whatever their policies are.
Well, my credit report lists my name wrong, so I disputed the online report and the negative information associated with my bk. Experian said that information had been verified twice and no online dispute could be opened.
