Reading old posts about Van Ru has really helped me out, people like beary, billy, and others. Unfortunately the links they posted are not working anymore or maybe just for me... Van Ru is a CA that deals with student loans, luckily for me I have been learning so much the past couple of years here that I know my rights. However they have threaten wage garnishment now. Has anyone gone through this? How serious are they? If they plan to go through it, I think I should try to bypass them and deal directly with the DOE. Has this worked for anyone else? What about a counter law suit for with proof they misrepresented themselves as the DOE, kept calling after told NOT to call at work. Harassed secretaries, I have their testemonies/affidavit. Any ammunition with that? Let me know YOUR story and outcome! Thanks
