Question: The 7 year period in which the bad credit can be reported is from the date the first payment was missed at the start of the last delinquency. Is this correct? So... doesn't the proof of WHEN the date the first payment is missed is behooved upon the CA or CR and if they cannot prove it, they must delete it? I am thinking about this - it can't be the time that the CA first started collecting it - right? So they must have to have the original creditor's records to prove that. I would think after 5 years, that might be a little tough for some creditors to come up with. Could this be a way around some paid collections files? k
