    HI all!

As Amex has Purchase protection program. On the evidence of coverage clearly stated that "The coverage is limited to $1,000 per Occurrence, up to $50,000 per Cardmember Account per policy year, and is in Excess of other sources of indimnity."

I have 2 Amex Card and made 2 purchases :

    One Card I purchased $950.00
    Second Card I purchased $100.00

Then both got stolen in the same time.

Please explain How much I can claim for?

$1000.00 or 1150.00 for both card.

    Thanks all

I think the $1000 is a limit per occurance, not a minimum. Therefore I read this to say that you will receive the $950.00 from the 1st card/1st occurance...and $150.00 for the 2nd card/1st occurance.

For a combined total of $1100.00 ... which is complete reimbursement of all of your purchases.
