I have this card. Issued by Associates, a part of Citibank. I received a low limit but maybe you'll do better. It came from a preapproval since I have a gas card w/ Mobil. It does offer gas rebates but I don't use this card much. It's okay but not one of my favorites. Pretty standard stuff but no annual fee.
I have ExxonMobil MC for over four years and I had this card since issued by GE Capital. Later the card is issued by Associates National Bank (now part of Citibank). They don't give too much increase for credit limit and they give me a good rate of 11.24% APR for purchases and cash advance. If you make a lot of gasoline purchases and buy drinks and stuff, they give you 3% rebates. It will credit in the followuing month statement. The limit of the card only $4600 and compared to my other card is low. Ron.
I feel better hearing about your limit w/ them. I thought that they'd singled me out in some way. Mine is only 2,500 which is very low compared to my other cards including my other Citibank products. I received the card after they were already Associates. I don't use them or like them enough to receive an inquiry asking for a higher limit. They are actually one of those cards that I wish I hadn't jumped on "accept" just b/c it was offered. The low limit makes me not want to use them much.
