Well today I received my denial letter and I must say I am shocked ! Please leave me some advice or comments! It says that I was denied because of "multiple account reported as deliquent,"Insufficent length of credit history," Deliquent Past or Present Credit Obligations." I HAVE NO DELIQUENT ACCOUNTS! I called the famous barr credit services and of course they said the information they obtained was by Transunion and that I need to contact them. Well this letter from them was printed on the 22nd, I fortunatly also have a recent copy of my Transunion report that was printed on the 22nd. It shows NO deliquent accounts either, why ? BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ANY! I contacted transunion again to receive another copy of my report. I really don't know what to think about this. Is it possible for someone to have two credit files and not know it ? I wish I could speak to a transunion rep LIVE. Grrrrr, thanks in advance for any help/advice!

    Eric,
I think so, though it is not right. I recently had TU remove some address and correct my name. I called them the other day and they said there are two files for your SSN and one of them had what I wanted and the other had the address and such that was supposed to be deleted! Go figure

Well I don't know whats going on. Im going to try and call someone on my lunch at work tomorrow and hopefully get a live person at TU. I bet their is a long time waited on hold when calling them. Recently I pulled my report thru eloan.com (its powered thru equifax) and it listed two collections. However my report straight from Equifax of from CSC (affilate of EQ) doesn't list them at all. Hopefully a live rep. at TU will be able to shed some light on this. We'll see I guess....

Check this out and see if you have any "BADDIES" on it...it's FREE (FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH)
It is also provided from TRANS UNION.

I can't pull my report from transunion online, or from worthknowing. Thanks though :) Both say they cannot verify my identity online.

Eric- if you can't pull online 'cause you failed the test... I'd be willing to bet you've got a mixed up file (someone with similar SSN or name leaking onto your report ... or 2 files).

Talk to the TU people - hopefully you can get it straigtened out.

    Goodluck!

Thanks for the good luck! I certainly hope it's nothing like that, seems like it'd be a pain in the butt to fix. My father , my brother and I have the same first and last name but our middle names are different. Not sure if that is relevant or not. I dont get off work 'til 4 pm than of course TU is already closed so im gonna try to give the ma ring on my lunch break.
