Update to my Macy's Toy Card Saga/Fiasco: I applied 1/18 and was approved for $100 (yes, only 2 0's after the 1), causing great hilarity and mirth. I set the account up thru billpay and checked today to see if pmt had cleared. This was 2nd pmt, I had 1 statement of $15 that I paid, then I charged some unmentionables online to take advantage of a sale, so I wanted to pay that down before the statement closes for utilization % - turns out I needn't have bothered. Available credit $325 - apparently in the last 3 weeks I got a $300 CLI! And the 2nd pmt hadn't posted yet! It's still a dismal CL, but who knows what could happen next month? If they keep increasing by 300% every month.....
