My amex preferred rewards gold card will probably show up tomorrow, but I am curious if there are any better cards that will allow you to earn double pts for everyday purchases and throw bonus offers in the mail and your email a lot? I was looking at AAdvantage from citi and FUSA from united. As I am only 21 and have not travleled a lot, would my amex be the best for earning miles because it does not restrict you to one or 2 airlines and their partners? Or are the other 2 I am looking at just as good? Are there any I would earn the miles as fast as with amex since they offer the double pts promos all the time and give 2 pts for everyday purchases?
