I got requested validation from a collection agency, they replied with bill that apparently the hospital faxed to them breaking down the charges. Is this proper validation?
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida The bil they submited apears to be a fax from the hospital, it uses the hospital letterhead and it has the normal information on the topp showing that the hospital faxed it to them. I know that a bill without a letterhead is not proper validation but this one is a deucy, I guess the question is if a fax from the hospital to the collection oegency constitutes proper validation.
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida Where is the account history and your signature. Just because they produced a bill does that mean you owe it?
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida hanks for advice Lbrown, what should be my next step. return the letter saying is not proper validation or simply send the stopel after 30 days?
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida Thanks for advice Lbrown, what should be my next step. return the letter saying is not proper validation or simply send the estoppel after 30 days? ======================= 30 days then estoppel. THE END ** *** ** LB 59 """"```--~~~~~~~~~--```'""'''
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida I just got done mailing 5 complaints yesterday ftc, 2 ag's, and 2 bbb's office yesterday on a company, and two ca's, which i'd been fighting on this same type of issue since July, and their fax didn't even have the letterhead of the alleged OC... and the fax was dated in 1998... and how clear were the 1998 generation faxes... they not only didn't cease collections, they've fielded out a second ca psudo-local and then ca #1, sent ca #2 the same fax for the valdiation request that i sent to ca #2... apparently ca's actually still think that we're stupid, even when you tell them otherwise...
Re: Fax From OC to CA proper Valida I agree 100% you would think that by the second to third letter they would get the point that you are serious and mean business. Hopefully they will remain in the dark for years to come so that we can continue doing what we are doing. Protecting our rights!
