FCNB increases after 6 months?

I recently talked to FCNB's credit department. A rep there told me after six months of having the account and making good payments I could call customer service and ask for a credit line increase.

I pointed out I was already at the $2,500 ceiling for unsecured credit during the card's first year. She said it didn't matter -- that what mattered was payment history and no cash advances.

Has anyone been able to get FCNB to increase his or her unsecured amount to more than $2,500 during the first year of a Secured and More credit card?

The rep said cash advances are a major minus when you apply for a limit increase. Don't know why.

FCNB didn't like people take cash advance from their secured cards because they think you got into financial trouble and you make cash loan from your secured cards.
