I recently talked to FCNB's credit department. A rep there told me after six months of having the account and making good payments I could call customer service and ask for a credit line increase. I pointed out I was already at the $2,500 ceiling for unsecured credit during the card's first year. She said it didn't matter -- that what mattered was payment history and no cash advances. Has anyone been able to get FCNB to increase his or her unsecured amount to more than $2,500 during the first year of a Secured and More credit card?
Re: FCNB increases after 6 mon no cash advances? Thats odd, they make so much money off cash advances
Re: FCNB increases after 6 mon The rep said cash advances are a major minus when you apply for a limit increase. Don't know why.
Re: FCNB increases after 6 mon FCNB didn't like people take cash advance from their secured cards because they think you got into financial trouble and you make cash loan from your secured cards.
