account was off all three reports. got eq, account has been reinserted. i dispute. while waiting, guess what comes in the mail... collection agency letter for fcnb. i will file on eq, because i was not notified of the reinsertation. will pursue validation with oc. account was opened 1n 1995/1996 and co in 1998. i doubt they can validate, we will see.
Have you tried writing/faxing EQ with a letter and proof of reinsertation of the account? Another member recently posted about their success using this route. If you're looking for some dollars out of this as well, then file, however, if you're looking for a quick fix, and possible deletions of all derogs, it may be worth a shot.
