    Hi,

My husband has FCNB Card for almost a year. I was wondering if anyone has received Tax Return Document from FCNB yet. We are still waiting for the paper so we can file for tax.

    Thanks

    Aux,

I don't remember they sent it to me a couple of years or may be they printed on the statement. You can called their customer service to ask.

Thanks Ron! My husband hasn't used the card for 5 months now and the last statement shown interest $3.50. I did call customer sevice but the machine said i will have to pay $2.00 to talk to customer service.

    Aux,

Live Customer Service is supposed to be free since you pay the annual fee for $39. I talked with them before when I had account with them and they didn't asked me for $2.00. Did you call 800-876-3262?

    Ron.

I called (800) 876-3262 but I called at night around 7.00pm ET and it's said I will have to pay $2.00.

Thanks Ron! I am on the phone with FCNB CS now.

    Aux,

I'm sorry that I forgot. I looked at my old FCNB secured card and they do charge $2.00 for a live person. I talked with them before without getting charge. I spoke with them to lower my interest rate without getting charge. I think all related matter with the account and it is free of charge. Don't get me wrong here. FCNB is a good bank and they helped me to rebuild my credit a couple of years ago when I had bad credit. I still have two accounts with them.

    Ron!

I just talked to FCNB CS, I didn't get the message like last time that I have to pay $2.00.

Anyway, They told me that if the interest under $10.00 they will not send out 1099INT form. And my husband got $7.94 for year 2001. Wondering if We have to file the tax listing FCNB.

    Thanks

You can, if you wish, claim FCNB on your tax return without the 1099-INT, but you will need the payer EIN number. You can get away with not reporting this interest on your tax return without penalty.

$2 to speak to customer service? Rediculous.
