Douse anybody know exactly where it states that if a consumer demands the means by which a CRA has verified a tradeline, that it must do so within 5 days?
Section 611 (a) (7) of the FCRA states that a CRA must provide, within 15 days of request by the consumer, a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information. What the CRA's must do within 5 days of completion of an investigaion is send you a notice stating that the description of the procedure can be provided to you, upon request. Hope this helps.
