I remember that the FCRA states that when a consumer disputes with an OC, the OC must within 5 business days notify the CRA's of such dispute.

Problem is I cant find that verbage anywhere
Can anyone point me in the right direction

    Section 611(a)(2)(A) of the FCRA

Is that what you're talking about??? What that paragraph says is that...the when the "consumer" disputes with the "CRA", the CRA (before 5 days) is to notify the "furnisher (OC or CA)" that the entry is being disputed.

    Diva,

Just for clarification. Yes, the CRA must notify the OC of the dispute within 5 business days. What I was saying in that quote from March, is there is nothing in the FCRA that says the OC must mark in dispute within 5 days.
