    I am looking at the 3 in 1 plus score power report offered through Equifax and I was wondering if any of you guru's out there have verified that it is indeed a congolmeration or if I would be better off ordering each individual report.

    Always get 3 separate reports. You need to know exactly how and what each credit bureau is reporting.

    Thanks for replying. I was afraid that would be the answer ;) What can I say, I was just hoping to save a few bucks! (But it's not worth it if the information isn't just as good)

    You can get free credit reports if you write to the CRA's and fall into one of these catagories (or you say you do).

    c) Free disclosure under certain other circumstances. Upon the request of the consumer, a consumer reporting agency shall make all disclosures pursuant to section 609 [§ 1681g] once during any 12-month period without charge to that consumer if the consumer certifies in writing that the consumer

    (1) is unemployed and intends to apply for employment in the 60-day period beginning on the date on which the certification is made;

    (2) is a recipient of public welfare assistance; or

    (3) has reason to believe that the file on the consumer at the agency contains inaccurate information due to fraud.
