I was in the dumps for a day or two. I was expecting a higher Experian score and that bummed me out. Then the worst is that I"ve gained 4 lbs.........that KILLED me. So...I went on a shopping spree today with my new Bank of America card and feel great. I got new clothes (still size 4). Joined a tanning salon for 6 months Got my nails and toenails done. Bought some exercise equipment to start working out and the best part...called Chase and told them to KISS MY ASS!!! After my earlier post today http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&pgnum=2&postid=151717#post151717 they had the nerve to call and tell me I was approved for a SECURED classic card. What BS!! So...I'm over my Experian score, gonna work out, tan and wear my cute new clothes. I'm back and raring to go. Oh and the Equifax attorney called and said they will "most likely" be ready to settle by Monday *woohoo*.
Christi- Sorry to hear about Chase, but I say F*ck 'em. This is kinda OT, and if you don't want to answer here thats ok, you can email me if you want to. I'm just curious about your weight loss journey. What kind of equipment did you get? How much have you lost, you know all the good stuff. Thanks Christi!!!
Christi, You've been so inspirational to me, a creditnet warrior woman you are!!!!!!!!!! If you're ever again feeling bummed about your score, just search on that 387 thread of mine, LOL.
I had gastric bypass surgery done 4-11-01. I weighed in at 264 the morning of surgery. Today I weigh 125 ...but intend to get back down to 120. Today I bought an ab-doer and a butt/thigh toner. I am in pretty decent shape, I just have ALOT of excess skin because of losing so much so fast. I am intending to use one of my new credit cards to pay for a tummy tuck $5600. We have to pay off a few small bills first and find out when hubby is having back surgery etc.
glad you are feeling better....shopping and a pedicure are close to heaven in my book. just an fyi.... i just made my anniversary 100 lbs gone forever 35 till goal.... wish i could say that about fico points.
