Ok, if I'm getting this right, your score dropped 17 pts for 5 inquiries? How many inquiries were there before the 5? I'm thinking that might not seem so outrageous in the context of the info we've received about inquiries...(not my personal opinion, mind you, but based on the scoring crud we've seen)
Here you go, the entire enquiries on my account the past 2 years: 07/014/2001 FNANB 07/07/2001 Nextcard 07/16/2001 Escoring Corp/DBA Privista 06/24/2001 Escoring Corp/DBA Privista 03/29/2001 Household Credit Services 03/07/2001 Iplace - Disclosure 1/11/2001 Dillard's National Bank Before these, I guess I had zero. Never applied for credit. Although, I do have a question I hope you can answer. I see AR on my credit file, and Equifax says the creditor is scanning my file in order to offer me credit. Problem is, the AR comes from a company that never offered me credit. In fact, I believe that company was on my bk. What gives? Let me know, Please, about my inquiry situation and the score. I guess I acted pretty stupid by acquiring them. But I never know which bureau they pull. No more inquiries and I hope my score is salvagable. I am sick about it right now.
